I probably should have made one eight thousand years ago, but better late than never. Three books published before I make a website isn't THAT bad, right? I'm writing this blog post on the assumption that little to no people will see it, but it's necessary to see what it looks like in full swing on this website I have poorly constructed.
I'll use this space to talk about writing? I guess? I've written so much in the last few months that I gave myself carpal tunnel, and I'm showing no signs of slowing down. When people ask me how I motivate myself to write, my first thought tends to be, "Actually, my problem is that I probably need to stop."
Before This Dissonant Princess, I wrote The Middle of the Knight, a book that follows Grayson Spelling, and does fill in the gap between Train Track Princes and Dissonant Princess. I decided the story likely wouldn't resonate with my reader base, but it was nice to get out. As I type this my two projects are the first adult installment in the TTP universe, one that follows Evergreen's friend Kite Beauregard, and a side project for my own piece of mind that follows the perspective of Matt Spelling after the events of This Dissonant Princess.
(Talk about redemption arcs I never expected.)
Anyway, this all amounts to around 160,000 words since the beginning of November.
And THAT is why I have carpal tunnel.
