Author Picture: Scarlett as a Racoon

"Scarlett is actually a raccoon feeding on fictional garbage in a fictional dumpster. She refuses to leave, because at least dumpsters are cozy. Her accolades include a GED, five psychiatric medication prescriptions, and excellent taste in clothing." - Author Blurb in my books

The larger truth is that I write novels about queer, mentally ill characters who are loved. They are too much, they are outlandish, they are too sad, they are uncouth, but they are loved. These characters exist outside the lines, as many queer and neurodivergent people do.

They're not convenient people, but they are loved, and their stories are worth telling over and over again.
